The O-KAT is an online, on-demand OASIS review exam specifically created for home health clinicians and coders. The O-KAT is a great way to assess your knowledge of OASIS and prepare for the HCS-O or the COS-C exams!

All the quiz questions and patient coding scenarios have been revised and enhanced for OASIS-E. They reflect the changes in the OASIS guidance and the latest Q&A updates to guidance. Additional emphasis has been placed on scenario style questions so individuals will have an opportunity to gauge both their general knowledge of OASIS and how they apply that knowledge to solve real-world coding challenges.

      During your subscription time, take the exam as many times as you need to improve your accuracy and speed!  There are over 500 questions in the bank, so each time you test you will be presented with a new set of test questions.

        Excellent exam prep!

        I used this exam prep after finishing my course to prepare myself for the exam. The questions are written in a manner that is very similar to the exam and it helped me pass my HCS-O exam on the first try! Well worth the investment and time!

        Good representation of OASIS Exam

        overall very easy to use and question banks offer good representation of the OASIS Exam. I took the exam today and Passed. I would like to suggest extending the availability of time to take the practice tests to one month rather than two weeks. However it is nice to still have access to review the exams with the correct questions after the two week period.

        Great preparation tool!

        Very easy to navigate and has been the only platform that provided practice exams with 100 questions. I believe it has definitely helped me to feel more confident with the material and comfortable with taking the actual certification exam. I do wish it allowed for access for more than just two weeks to take the three practice test, but overall I am very happy with the experience.

        OASIS E Exam Prep

        Great resource ; ready to use and reset as needed. Have me what I needed on preparing for the exam. I had greater confidence going into the exam and most importantly. I passed the exam! Definitely recommend and I will use more of their resources.

        Best practice exam for OASIS certification!

        I am so glad I got the O-kat practice tests! I was able to do them over and over to prep for my HCS-O. I liked that it gave me the correct answers and rationale so I could learn from it. I was able to pass my OASIS exam with confidence. Now that I have both my coding certification and my OASIS, I was able to get a remote work position. I am so grateful for all the courses and practice tests in the post-acute academy!

        Excellent review and practice tool for cert exams.

        I was preparing to recertify my COS-C for OASIS E and have never taken the exam since my first cert in 2011 without the OASIS Answers Blueprint course or other OA course prior to the exam. I was planning to attend another Blueprint but instead learned about Post-Acute Academy from taking the coding courses. I instead took their OASIS E crash course and took the O-KAT twice to prep for my COS-C recert. It was all that I needed to pass my exam. Saved me a bundle on the Blueprint course and I stayed right here in my home by using their course and O-KAT. If you are planning to take the COS-C or the HCS-O, you should get this first. Just taking the O-KAT exams taught me a great deal.
