This recorded webinar allows participants to validate what they know about coding the IRF-PAI and the UB-04 claim form in order to accurately reflect each patient’s medical conditions and functional deficits.
- Prior to the webinar, attendees will complete an assessment consisting of twenty proficiency questions that target specific IRF PPS and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines and concepts. These coding scenarios will cover assigning etiologic diagnoses, comorbid conditions, and complications on the IRF-PAI, as well as the principal and secondary diagnoses on the UB-04. The presentation will include a review of the rationales for the correct answers to the proficiency questions, based on IRF PPS coding guidelines, ICD-10 coding guidelines, and relevant CMS resources.
