ICD-10- CM FY2026 Update: What’s New, What’s Changing and Why it Matters
This course provides an in-depth review of the latest coding changes and regulatory updates impacting home health agencies, effective October 1, 2025. Participants will learn about key revisions to the ICD-10-CM code set, including updates to the alphabetic index, tabular list, and official coding guidelines. The session will also explore proposed changes to the PDGM groupers and comorbidity tables, with a focus on how these updates may influence reimbursement strategies and care planning. In addition, attendees will review recent guidance from the AHA Coding Clinic to ensure coding practices remain accurate, compliant, and well-documented. By the end of this course, learners will be equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to apply these changes in their daily coding workflow confidently.
