Palliative Care Communication
Effective communication is essential in all healthcare situations but is the key to providing compassionate care in Hospice and Palliative Care situations. Communication with patients in end-of-life settings can be extra challenging due to illnesses and barriers. Understanding that communication is not always verbal and becoming a better listener are important skills to possess that assist in delivering compassionate end-of-life care.
