Each course includes handouts, instructional videos and post quizzes. Once all lessons are completed in each course, there will be a final exam to test your knowledge. At the end of the course, complete the evaluation to download your certificate.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND CLASS!

I recently completed this class and passed the HCS-D exam!!! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to get certified. Lisa and Michelle have a wealth of knowledge and experience. The lessons are very hands on where you are looking up the codes with them -- I learn best with this way and it is self paced so you can pause the lecture and find what you need to find or take notes. I look forward to more classes with them and continuing my learning.

HCS-D exam review

I cannot recommend post acute academy enough! I purchased bundle 2 because I have been in the home health field for many years now. I loved the videos and the post tests really helped to explain the rationale behind choosing the correct answer for every question. I took and passed the exam first time and this program made me feel comfortable and confident going in to take the exam!

Worth Every Penny! HCS-D certified now!

When I first started this course, I was so overwhelmed and my first thought was, “I’ll never get this”. In coding there are more exceptions than rules I think! Every rule has an exception which just overwhelmed me at first. But the modules in this course are presented methodically to build on what you’re learning. Don’t stop if you feel overwhelmed. Keep going and by the end of the course, you will have an innate understanding of coding and confidence to be able to pass the HCS-D. I enjoyed the course so much that I spent days on end going through it for hours at a time. Do not move on until you know you understand the module you’re working on. Overall excellent course!
